Jigme Dorje is from Bopa, Darlag County, Golok. When he was three years old his mother died from a lung related illness. Then when he was four years old, his father also passed away from an illness. For five months after that, he lived as an orphan, with nobody to take care of him. From time to time his neighbors would give him food or clothing. Then, in 2003 he was able to enter this school.
